Our awesome tour guides and their living history assistants are looking forward to showing you around again soon.
Almost every Saturday and Sunday thru late October, our historians are here to guide you on a fascinating two hour walking tour through the fort and some of its buildings. Tours depart the Visitor Center at 11am and 2pm.
Weekend tours are not currently available but we hope to start soon. Start date will be announced here so please check back for updates!
ATTENTION: The City of Detroit, HFWC, and American Battlefield Trust are postponing this year's hands-on preservation event at the fort. This nationwide event calls on volunteers (that's you!) to help with maintenance projects large and small. Registration is free and open to all.
Our hope is to reschedule this important event before Summer kicks in. Keep checking here for updates!

Historic Fort Wayne regular operating hours are every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, May through October. Longer hours during many special events. Guided tours are available almost every weekend and weekday tours are available by appointment.
Historic Fort Wayne Coalition is the volunteer organization responsible for much of the maintenance at the fort. We're a non-profit dedicated to preserving Fort Wayne's history and the legacy of those who served here during its 128 years of operation.
We've got some unique items in our online store, just for you or the history lover in your life. Our shopping cart is safe and secure so order with confidence. Every cent of profit goes toward the fort's day to day maintenance.
